About

Alexis has dedicated herself and her practice to facilitating the physical, emotional and spiritual healing of those that seek her help.  She holds a Bachelors of Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine.

Alexis is a constant learner and seeks opportunities to bring advanced healing techniques to her clients.  She has apprenticed with leading healers in Texas and around the country, including two years working with Jon Dollar, LAc in Neuro-lymphatic Manipulation and three years working at Turtle Dragon Health Services in Herbal Medicine and tincture production.  She has sought advanced courses of study in Japanese and Hari Acupuncture with Koei Kuwahara, LAc and in multiple diagnosis techniques.  In addition to her experience in Acupuncture and healing, Alexis lended her calm presence and steady demeanor as a Healthcare Coordinator, supporting children and adults at a mental health residential treatment facility for many years.

Personally, Alexis knows that she can only bring her clients to a level of healing that she herself is willing to go.  She is able to be present with her clients’ emotions, life situations and health issues, because she is committed to being present with her own.  She is dedicated to her own expansion and learning, and has apprenticed with leading spiritual teachers such as Heather Ash Amara where she studied the Mastery of Awareness, a Toltec tool for personal transformation, and Ramakrishna Ananda where she learned the Five Elements process, a meditation and healing practice for purifying the mind and heart and developing a personal relationship with divine energies.

Alexis considers her work a privilege.  She works with those that are ready to take responsibility for their health in partnership together and acts as a channel for that healing to occur.  Her clients value her for her healing spirit, her kindness and compassion, and her thoughtful ability to teach, empower, and connect them with their own intuition and healing abilities.  She brings her extensive knowledge and experience, along with her gifts of intuition and energetic sensitivity, to her clients locally here in Austin and around the world through distance healing sessions.

In addition to her healing practice, Alexis loves movement, adventures and road trips, tending her garden and making homemade tinctures and flower essences, superhero movies, and being outdoors.

She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Texas and is certified in Clean Needle Technique by CCAOM.  She is a member of the Texas Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture.
